Monthly day meets

The Club arranges Day Meets every month, usually on the third weekend, Saturday or Sunday. On Day Meets a bus takes members to the chosen area. The Meet Secretary organises those participating into parties of 2, 3,4 or 5 members of broadly similar ability and who wish to do a similar route. Party leaders are appointed and seek to ensure that, among other things, the party gets back to the bus back on time.

Where time allows an evening meal is taken at a suitable hotel or restaurant.

The cost of a Day Meet varies with venue but is up to about £17 plus the cost of the meal.
